Apple said iPhone sales in China in the second quarter increased 9 times
Apple today announced fiscal 2010 second quarter earnings report, Apple executives in a conference call later revealed that the second quarter of fiscal year 2010, iPhone sales in Greater China increased 9 times.
Apple Chief Financial Officer Bite Ao Peng Bruckheimer (Peter Oppenheimer) told the analysts, the first half of fiscal year 2010, Apple came from Greater China (including mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) revenue reached 1.3 billion U.S. dollars, up 200 %; second quarter of iPhone sales in Greater China increased by 9 times.
Apple Chief Operating Officer Dimukuke (Tim Cook) said, iPhone sales in the Asia Pacific region grew by 477 percent, while growth in Europe, 133%. In part because of Apple in some key countries, an increase of eight operators partners such as Vodafone of Britain and Ireland.
